What helper checks mean
Check each helper's current records before agreeing to help. An account or an approved profile is not a guarantee of safety.
Identity
An identity record helps establish who submitted a profile. It does not establish experience, qualifications, or a clean background.
Background records
A background report covers only its stated sources, places and dates. It may not include every jurisdiction or incident. Ask about the report's date and scope; no report predicts future conduct.
Licences and certifications
A document on file is different from an approved check. Confirm the issuing body, expiry date and whether the credential fits the service you need.
Insurance
An insurance document does not mean every job, person or incident is covered. Ask the helper about current coverage and exclusions. Ourli is not an insurer.
What the labels mean
Submitted or on file means information was provided. Approved or verified means the record received that review status. Missing, expired or self-reported information should not be treated as approved.
Your decision
Interview the helper, ask for references, confirm duties and prices, and share only necessary household details. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
